PREV CHAPTER TABLE OF CONTENTS ITEM INDEX Introduction

This book is dedicated to heroes.

It's dedicated to the forever GMs, to the first-time players, and to all the friends around the table (and computer screens) that choose to spend their precious time together.

It's dedicated to the stories we tell together. It's dedicated to the characters we play, no matter their color, kind, or creed.

It's dedicated to the people working hard, or taking a deserved rest, moving through all of life's challenges both seen and secret.

We all deserve some magic in our lives. The magic of a joyous surprise. The magic of treasure that matches us, our stories, our characters: boundless as our imagination can take us.

We lead adventures in our day-to-day lives and our make-believe ones. It can't be helped. We are all on this journey together through time and space, real and imagined, becoming better versions of ourselves all the time.

This book it dedicated to all of us for being on this adventure together. Through thick and thin. We are all heroes in this together.

This book is dedicated to us. It is dedicated to you.

Thank you for taking the time to explore and read this book. Thank you doubly for taking the time to read the introduction! I hope your thoroughness rewards you well with what you find in this compendium.

On these pages you will find a wealth of supplemental content that’s been designed to make your fifth edition campaigns all the more memorable and unique.

Part 1 contains tables and entries for 504 illustrated magic items. The Magic Item Table covers the names, types, rarities, subrarities, and attunement requirements of every item in this book. The tables following them are loot tables: use them to replace or supplement the ones found in the official source books.

Part 2 details new character options for players, including two new character species and twelve subclasses. Not all classes are available to make content for, so the subclasses you find here are designed for the original classes found in the core rulebooks.

Parts 3 and 4 dive deep into fourteen unique setting options and their creature stat blocks. These have been purposefully designed to be campaign-agnostic to fit in all manner of worlds you may be playing in.

If you have any questions about what you find in this book, you can always find answers and support online through the Discord server or in an email to me, Griffin, directly. Links to those can be found in the Final Thoughts.

Ask Your Game Master

As with anything, check with your Game Master (GM) to make sure that these items, character options, settings, or monsters are welcome in your game.

The contents in this book are carefully designed to follow existing precedents as found in the official publications as closely as possible. The quality of your adventure is always top priority, and this content has been made to abide by the same standard that you’ve come to expect from the official source books.

Making It Your Own

If an item matches your campaign’s style or setting but isn’t the proper fit in terms of its power or features, feel free to adjust it however you see fit. While the items in this book are designed and balanced to fit within the parameters of typical games, what is ultimately the most important is that you have fun with them.

Some players use powerful magic items throughout an entire campaign by first reducing their strength and features to make them appropriate for lower levels. Over the course of their adventures, the player may find ways to slowly empower these items or restore their true abilities. So if an item’s right, don’t let its rarity stop you from having fun with it: make it your own, and allow the treasure to play a larger part of your stories!
